Nicholas Atkins

Chief Executive Officer

A lifelong entrepreneur, Mr. Atkins has founded and developed numerous successful businesses in the oil and gas industry, including launching and managing a portfolio of automotive and fuel service businesses. Mr. Atkins started WestWater Energy in 2007 with his first wastewater treatment facility (Pumpkin Buttes) in the Powder River Basin, Wyoming and under his leadership the company grew to 6 locations in Utah, Wyoming, Colorado and North Dakota disposing and recycling over 30,000,000 barrels of flowback & produced water a year as it transformed into a leader in the technology for oil and gas wastewater disposal. Mr. Atkins built the company with the mission & commitment to cleaning up wastewater and drilling fluids in environmentally friendly ways with minimal impact on the environment. WestWater Energy experienced significant growth and transformation both organically and through the strategic acquisition of oilfield services and technologies under his leadership. WestWater was sold in 2014 to Natural Gas Partners portfolio company Oilfield Water Logistics (OWL). Mr. Atkins graduated in 1985 from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Rudy Concha

Managing Partner
Mr. Concha has over three decades of experience in management as an owner and senior-level positions in various private companies in and out of the Energy Sector. He’s responsible for Marketing & Strategic Planning and creating investment platforms around emerging energy trends for WES. The founder and chairman of Security Real Estate, a highly successful private investment firm focused on building businesses in primary markets. With a unique combination of shrewd entrepreneurial sense along with do-it-yourself determination Mr. Concha has built his reputation as a builder of businesses.

Jamie Downs

Chief Financial Officer
Jamie has over 25 years management and finance experience in several industries including Oilfield, Banking and Manufacturing. Jamie has held positions of President, Vice President and General Manager for Wells Fargo Bank, Security State Bank and Texas Champion Bank. He has managed and grew his own SWD and oilfield services company before selling it in 2014. He has served 6 years as Board of Trustees for Pleasanton Independent School District. Jamie is a graduate of Wells Fargo College of Commercial Credit and Texas Tech University Management LEAD.

Stephanie Barr

Internal Operations Manager
Stephanie Barr is an effective problem solver, with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare and oilfield industries. Mrs. Barr has held positions with varied levels of responsibility up to Senior Manager in accounting and audit practices, where she focused on the energy sector, including exploration and production, chemicals, water management and various fuel refining. She is thoroughly skilled in the areas of finance, leadership, cash flow management, contracts and human resources. Mrs. Barr has proven success with analyzing budgets and identifying revenue and expansion opportunities, in efforts to improve cash flow.
